Focus on manufacturing is highly preferred. • 5~10 years sourcing experience, preferably in high volume manufacturing/consumer products. • 2-3 years of sourcing experience in mechanical parts such as stamping / die casting / injection molding / finishing /etc as well as in electronic & electro-mechanical parts such as semiconductors and PCBAs. Some experience with EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Service) is preferred. • Previous experience dealing with big-box retailers is desired but not required. Required Skills : • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, written and verbal. • A proven ability to drive lower costs through regional/global consolidation. • Considerable knowledge of sources of supply, markets, price, and commodity trends, with the ability to accurately predict marketplace events and develop both long-range strategies and short-term contingency plans. • Proven negotiation skills • Strong analytical skills required. • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make presentations and influence people at all levels of the organization. • Ability to manage multiple projects and activities that often have competing priorities. • Knowledge of SAP and/or equivalent ERP systems.
